Fulfil with excellence the function of being a “Christian” Radio offering our programming focused on families, reaffirming values and biblical principals.
Our Vision

HISTORY
The Radio station broadcasted for the first time as “Radio Familia” on November 4th 2002 with 25 watts of power. it had a very short transmition range from the top of the mountain ITO Cruz with a five disc cd player. We did this because our contract had been established with the Ecuatorian goverment, and because of the Telecommunications Laws we had to broadcast or risk losing the frequency wich cost so much effort to obtain.
We have seen the Lord's hand present at all times in our radio station because all the equipment had to be ordered and shipped from England and The United States, had to go through customs here in Ecuador. It is well known that these proceedings take a lot of time and trouble, and we were afraid we were not going to have them on time. But thank God, the equipment that we were waiting for arrived and in less than a month and got them out of custom in Guayaquil with a 25% import tax on the total cost of importation which was an amazing blessing.
In March 2003 we started to install all the equipment: console, acoustics, cd players, satellite, computers etc. All with the best technology, original software and legal permissions as established by the law.
The audio engineer, Juan Tommerback, installed and designed the studios for Radio Familia He is a missionary, born in Norway and has been working for the Norway’s Telecommunications State Company also has done some courses in BBC London, has been advisor for HCJB, Technician in Ingapirca´s Voice Radio Station among others.
The studios were ready by the end of March and ever since we have been constantly working to improve the programming quality of our radio.
This Radio Station is the result of a lot effort and dedication put towards offering a new and different vision to the city of Cuenca and those smaller towns alla around, through proclaiming the lordship of Jesus Christ, and his power to change our lives. we give all the glory to him for what we have been able to accomplish, and what He will do in the future.
